Julia Parker passed away, deeding 10 acres, her home and outbuildings to the Borough of Little Silver.

Placed on National Historic Site Registry
February 2012 - Reorganization meeting of community committee
September 2012 - Parker Homestead - 1665, Inc. officially incorporated
Summer 2012 - Barns emptied; Longstreet Farm rangers help evaluate farm equipment; ice boat restored
Dec 2012 - County grant for barn restoration $250,000 awarded to Borough of Little Silver
Jan 2013 - Preservation Grant interior preservation obtained by the Borough of Little silver
April 2013 - inventory of house contents (currently in storage) begun
October 2013 - Homestead Restoration -Original fireplace uncovered; plaster removed from parlor ceiling exposing original stained beams
December 2013 - Open House - first chance for the public to see the homestead since it became borough property
June 2014 - Open House - dedication of Red Oak tree planted in commemoration of New Jersey's 350th Anniversary
July 2014 - Blackberry Pick fundraiser
August 2014 - Work begins on barn restoration
December 2014 - Holiday Open House
February 2015 - Burst pipes in Bates' storage house saturates boxes and boxes of stored paper and fabric possessions, many of which were dried and recovered
March 2015- Twenty-five 1909 Philadelphia Caramel Company baseball cards discovered
June 2015 - Baseball Card Open House
Parker Homestead-1665, Inc leased the homestead and 4 acres from the Borough of Little Silver
The Trustees of the NJ Historic Trust with the Trustees of the the 1772 Foundation, Inc awarded PH-1665 a $4,971 matching grant for preservation work on the house.
Interior restoration project begun September 28. Cooking fireplace and "T'uther End" entrance focus.
